PURPOSE STATEMENT

To maximise listings, distribution, value sales and profitability of the Rich’s product portfolio within nominated customer(s) in line with the Sales and Channel strategy via an insight-based category leadership approach. 
 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

 

  •  To proactively identify customer opportunities and work with the Marketing, Category, NPD & Innovation teams to develop customer focused solutions to profitably grow the business
  • Strong leadership of the customer ‘virtual team’
  • Implement compelling commercial plans to ensure achievement of sales and profit targets
  • Develop long-term Joint Business Plans to drive incremental sweet bakery category sales and to achieve agreed shared objectives with the customer
  • Ensure customer plans are monitored and controlled and where necessary contingency plans developed to address any issues
  • To communicate effectively and pro-actively with all internal functions; production, supply chain, technical, new product development, finance, marketing and category management to ensure high quality and efficient service is provided
