PURPOSE STATEMENT

To select a candidate that will perform the key accountabilities of a Falcon 2000EX copilot, listed in the Rich Aviation’s flight operations manual.   These requirements will help support the air travel needs of our corporate flight department.  The focus will be on choosing an applicant that exemplifies the right fit, while maintaining the highest level of safety, professionalism, and flexibility. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

  • Able to perform and complete required pre/post flight duties and inspections of the aircraft specified
  • Responsible to comply with all company policies, procedures, checklists and working knowledge of Rich Aviation’s flight operations manual.
  • Poses effective oral and written communication skills
  • Be an active participant in the flight departments Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Be a self-motivating, professional, ethical, and flexible individual
  • Maintain valid certificates required to perform scheduled flight duties
  • Able to obtain and maintain passports and if required, visas, current international certificates of vaccination and other documents as required to travel to specific international destinations
  • Must present a team effort approach with great interpersonal skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Must be proactive, efficient, with the ability to seek out answers and resources as needed
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules and willing to travel internationally when needed
  • Must be able to handle the job responsibilities with integrity, discretion and sensitivity to confidential company and associate information
  • Possess no prior FAA or DOT violations or convictions, to include DUI’s & DWI’s
  • Able to pass an extensive TSA, PRIA and corporate background check
  • Assist with handling of aircraft, passengers, and baggage (requires some heavy lifting of 50 pounds and greater)
  • Interface with passengers and other company personnel in a professional and courteous manner.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Education:          Bachelor’s degree preferred

Certificates:       Commercial license but ATP preferred

Medical:              First Class with no limitations

Flight Time:        1500 Hours minimum total time (500 hours jet time preferred)

Falcon  2000 Experience:     Preferred with EASY I/II experience

  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude!
  • Professional and courteous demeanor 
  • Driven and self-motivated 
  • Able to actively establish priorities and have great organizational skills
  • Basic MS Word and Excel skills
