We are looking for a Process Development Engineer to join our Toppings, Creams and Culinary Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 yrs of experience in a food manufacturing organization working at the corporate level and has worked with emulsion based products. In this role you will not only work on process improvement, but work on processes for our new product innovations. 



  • Work with food scientists and cross functional teams to develop new and innovative food process technologies

  • Design, build, and test new process technologies in the R&D Pilot Lab

  • Scale-up new food process technologies in manufacturing locations

  • Work collaboratively with the Manufacturing team to identify, validate, and implement process improvements

  • Study new and emerging process technologies to determine it’s potential impact for Rich Products

  • Conduct detailed and accurate experiments

  • Complete thorough technical documentation, reports, and recommendations

  • Demonstrate outstanding teamwork, passion, and positive attitude

  • Drive results




  • BS in Chemical or Food Engineering. Depending on product process development experience, will consider Mechanical or Industrial Engineering 
  • Minimum of 3 years of Process Engineering experience in food manufacturing, experience working with emulsions preferred
  • Experience with a broad variety of food unit operations and processes.
  • Demonstrated abilities to be creative and innovative.
  • Demonstrated process development and project management abilities.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MiniTab, and CAD systems (e.g. Solidworks, AutoCAD).
  • Willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Willing and able to travel outside the United States
