PURPOSE STATEMENT

You will have the ability to contribute in developing and implementing progressive Talent Acquisition strategies and ensuring processes are aligned to execute those strategies. In partnership with the team, you will effectively manage candidates through the recruiting and selection process, provide consulting and guidance to our internal hiring teams and participate in projects that enhance the recruiting experience. You will be a subject-matter expert and be passionate about keeping abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques that enable us to be a best-in-class recruitment shop.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

 

  • Responsible for delivering on the recruiting needs of the business and driving the strategic direction to source for top talent, inclusive of:
    • Engaging in kick off meetings providing direction and guidance to hiring managers
    • Providing recruitment strategy for sourcing and screening qualified and diverse candidates; leveraging tools and technology
    • Conduct interviews; coach managers in behavioral based interviewing techniques
    • Ensuring a strong candidate experience for all applicants
       
  • Effectively manage relationships with candidates, organizational leaders, and internal HR partners
  • Improve programs, procedures and processes and capture best practices from within and throughout industry
  • Coach leaders in best practice techniques as well as compliance for recruitment
  • Competitive Intelligence: Maintain knowledge of industry workforce trends and how they impact the business; establish recruitment pipelines
  • Establish credibility as the subject to matter expert, build partnerships with stakeholders and take to lead role for recruitment to ensure a continual increase in the talent level of the organization
  • Contributes to the alignment of recruitment with the talent management strategy, and execution with the organization's key business drivers
  • Identify qualified candidates according to established criteria and specific needs of hiring manager
  • Source candidates utilizing applicant tracking system, summarizes databases, networking sites, competitive intelligence, social average and to other sourcing tools
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, and/or trade groups.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ corporate or agency recruitment experience
  • Demonstrated operations and manufacturing knowledge
  • Experience in assessment tools; behavioral based interviewing skills and panel interviewing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; demonstrated project leadership experience
  • Ability to travel as needed (5-10%)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems; Microsoft Office Suite including demonstrated strength in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven success with social media and current sourcing strategies
  • Ability to conduct best practice and benchmarking research
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
