PURPOSE STATEMENT

The National Sales Manager, ISB will be accountable in delivering the ISB Channel plan, developing key sales strategies via customer/channel and managing ISB sales team Associates.  The National Sales Manager will sit on the Canadian Steering Team and help prioritize all the key initiatives critical to the Division’s long term success.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

Lead ISB Channel, inclusive of directing, coaching and mentoring Associates to Achieve full potential.

Proactively develop key initiatives and targeted value propositions to achieve sales and profit targets.

Enhance current relationships within our existing customer base and develop new customer relationships by managing their expectations and delivering an exceptional level of customer service.

Lead and shape Merchandising and Category Management disciplines to gain channel insight and focus against driving growth on the base and innovation.

Develop Annual ISB Channel Plan and robust Customer Growth Plans while meeting established sales objectives established by the VP.

Collaborate in team environment with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Culinary to deliver the Rich Experience.

Responsible for budgets, trade, planning and sales forecasts, making sure that all aspects of our sales and marketing strategies achieve our expected level of case sales and profit margins.

Prepare effective and professional sales reports and/or presentations.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION:

Post-secondary education in business or marketing (University Degree). MBA preferred. 

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 7-years sales experience in the food industry.

Sales team management preferred.

 

Sales experience in the In-Store Bakery retail industry preferred.

 

SKILLS:

Demonstrated relationship building skills.

Demonstrated financial acumen including understanding of P&L and customer cost drivers.

Demonstrated understanding of the In-Store Bakery industry.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

Strategic agility in development of tactical initiatives that align with strong growth orientation.

Professional, personable, detail oriented and results driven.

PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
