PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Distribution Manager will provide day-to-day leadership and corporate account management to maintain and grow Strategic Distributor customers, as called for in the Rich’s Foodservice Division 3-year plan. Collaborate with VP of Sales, Region Field Teams, and all Segment Leaders to execute national plans at the local level. 

 

The ideal candidate would live in the central or eastern time zones. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

  • Build strong relationships with all assigned customers to assure grow and new opportunities.
  • Assist in developing and execute FSD 3-year strategic plans for growth in National/Alternative distribution.
  • Collaborate with the field to develop and execute local plans for target achievement.
  • Support as needed FSD and customer trade shows, sales meetings, and other customer activities.
  • Attend key customer events, representing Rich’s Foodservice Division
  • Analysis of results and define gaps / opportunities for growth.
  • Assist in RFP and major customer initiatives.
  • Optimize distributor ROI on local trade investment.
  • Build top-to-top relationships with strategic distributor customers.
  • Collaborate with Field sales to drive strategic category and NPD priorities.
  • Support  FSD intelligence capture initiatives.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required (in business management, finance, marketing preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years Food Service industry experience with a minimum 5 years Food Service field sales experience
  • Established relationships with key distributor customers at the local and regional level.
  • Ability to utilize and incorporate Professional Selling Skills
  • Solid financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills to include strong presentation skills.
  • Positive, outgoing and confident 
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Ability to negotiate for successful outcome.
  • Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint

COMPENSATION

 

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$125,200.00 - $187,900.00
