PURPOSE STATEMENT

 

The production group lead is responsible for setting up and the direct operation of assigned production lines, ensuring team members are producing quality products while working safely.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

 

 

  • Must report any equipment failure to immediate supervisor
  • Must follow associate and equipment safety policies and report safety incidents and accidents to a Production Group Leader, Team Leader, Manager and/or EH&S Manager right away
  • Must follow all company GMP’s, Food Safety, Food Quality, and associate rules and regulation as required
  • Must follow all production programs, processes, and work instructions specific to the operation
  • Must comply with all necessary documentation, as required, and assigned for the position
  • Must maintain a professional attitude with plant associates, corporate associates, visitors, contractors customers, and anyone doing business with the company
  • Must maintain safe, clean, and organized working area at all times
  • Ability to lead a team of associates in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to delegate tasks as necessary
  • Generate traceability and identification of raw and finished products
  • Able to understand and enter data in QDMS and TPM systems
  • Ensure team members are operating safely by performing safety audits
  • Responsible for team attendance marking
  • Must use applicable PPE and provide team members with PPE/equipment as needed
  • Responsible for ensuring quality along production line
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, including but not limited to walking, standing on hard concrete surface, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting of up to 50 lbs, working in a manufacturing setting

 

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must possess leadership skills
  • Must have great communication
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing setting  
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus 

 

COMPENSATION

 

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$21.50 - $24.50 plus shift differential as applicable.
