PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Finance Director is a Finance Business Partner that provides decision-making support to the Country Manager. Strategic advisor to the country leadership team, assesses risks and opportunities across the enterprise, drives awareness and actions to drive financial success.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

• Partners with the country leadership team to drive financial success maximizing revenue through commercial finance support and optimizing cost through end-to-end supply chain finance business partnership.
• Provides leadership and hands on support with developing annual operating plans and  monthly forecasts with clear assumptions and insights.
• Supports development of strategic multi-year plan aligned to corporate strategy and reflecting growth opportunities, competitive dynamics, and general marketplace changes.
• Reviews monthly, annual and quarterly Financial Statements providing business insights, identifying trends, risks and opportunities, and driving corrective actions where needed. Includes deep dive analysis into product,  customer and country profitability.
• Provides financial guidance on complex transactions and business initiatives such as large Capital investment projects and M&A initiatives.
• Partners with the COE and ESO leaders to ensure compliance of statutory accounting and internal control environment.  
• Oversight of the Enterprise Services Organization performance for all finance towers (FP&A, RTR, A/R, A/P and Payroll), reviewing performance metrics (SLAs & KPIs), identifying gaps and establishing corrective actions. 
• Supports and recommend annual Capital spending plans
• Develops Treasury Strategy  and Cash Flow Forecasting to meet liquidity requirements (dividend, capital investments, royalty payments, financing and investment)
• Establishes necessary controls to manage Foreign Currency exposure.
• Ensures an adequate internal control environment of the business  
• Provides leadership, guidance and leadership to the local Finance teams (Finance Business Partners and Local COE Finance members) as well as team engagement of the Enterprise Services Organization members. 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
Advanced degree such as MBA or Chartered Accountant

Experience:
• Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Experience in managerial roles, with a proven track record of leading finance teams and managing financial operations is essential.
• Specific experience in areas such as M&A, strategic planning, managing several different countries, familiarity with global financial regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools – such as excel, Power BI, ppt, data analytics.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, S4 knowledge is a plus
