PURPOSE STATEMENT

This role will provide culinary leadership, innovation, and technical support to the TCCS sales team.  Support, create, develop and validate culinary solutions, lead new opportunities into all markets & channels.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

•    Ability to test and analyse our products in a manner that would simulate full scale customer processing
•    Prepare finished goods prototype using manufacturing facilities and equipment, as required.
•    Understand the technical needs in plant / commercial kitchen environments and provide as needed customer support.
•    Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems by applying advanced technical culinary knowledge and extensive experience.
•    Be a first adopter and expert of all New Product Development (NPD) – sufficient to build customer confidence and competency.
•    Support customer identification & drive engagement across all areas of their business.
•    Presentation at store, factory to head office level to achieve specific development objectives
•    Creation of customer focused recipe guides / or supporting culinary material 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

•    Food preparation skills and techniques to display the culinary expertise necessary to showcase product and uses to fit customer’s needs
•    knowledge of consumer / customer market trends to identify opportunities that maximize Rich’s competitive position. 
•    Proven ability to deliver culinary plans, in a customer focussed environment
•    Ability to conduct food demonstrations and presentations
•    Recipe development & modification, Creates, modifies, and writes standardised recipes 
•    Understand consumer food, ingredient, and purchasing trends and its impact on seasonal menu planning.
•    Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
•    Demonstrable track record of culinary success in market 
•    Understands market dynamics and consumer trends
•    Strong influencing skills, ability to influence at a variety of levels
•    Adaptable and resilient
•    Appreciation of the NPD process of bringing a product to market
