Purpose Statement
The Bakery Technical Counselor will provide training support as part of Bakery Technician Task Force at Walmart Stores. The candidate will be responsible for training and developing Walmart Bakery associates on bakery techniques and protocol.
**This role supports Walmart locations in the Greater Denver and surrounding area**
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
- Train Walmart Bakery Associates on Bakery protocol in stores with specific emphasis on cake decorating and bakery production items.
- Build relationships with Walmart associates including Walmart Store Bakery Managers, Store Managers, and Operation leads.
- Provide support for Grand Openings and new store openings.
- Communicate any policy changes and new processes to store associates.
- Provide weekly reports to manager outlining results of store visits and action steps.
- Coordinate training efforts & maintain minimum hours in store while minimizing travel costs.
- Participate in regional/national Tech Task Force training updates & in-person summits.
- Assist Walmart customer as needed and on demand for assigned special projects
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 5 years retail baking experience and 3 years cake decorating experience including superb design, customized cake design, and mass production with 1.5 years In-Store Bakery cake decorating
- Strong, hands-on training and development skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Travel 75% Some overnights will be required

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$62,815.00 - $84,985.00
