Purpose Statement
Collaborate with Walmart and Sam’s Club Sales, Marketing, and Insights team to assist with delivering the “Rich Experience” to our customers and achieving targeted team objectives.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
· Become familiar with and support every major team function – Sales, Insights, Culinary, Tech Team Support, and interact as needed with the internal cross functional teams including Customer Marketing, Product Marketing, and CBU personnel.
· Develop a working knowledge of key tools such as Scintilla Charter, Engine, and Circana Data along with basic Retail Link functionality.
· Assist in pricelist maintenance, daily sales reporting, SAP maintenance, tracking Sam’s Club member reviews on BazaarVoice, and receiving and/or delivering samples or shipments.
· As opportunity presents itself, help with sales meeting execution and attend relevant line reviews or other meetings across all categories – Bakery, Deli, and Frozen.
· Provide support for special projects, ecommerce initiatives, sustainability initiatives, and product development
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Required:
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business
· Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, the ability to work independently and in small groups, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent planning and organization skills, and efficient time management.
· Ability to work well in a team environment.
· Qualities: Resourceful, teachable, proactive, creative problem solver, adaptive to change, and demonstrates a sense of urgency.
· Highly proficient with MS Office applications, intermediate to advanced skills in Excel required.
