Purpose Statement
The trainer provides timely and accurate completion of assigned training. Facilitates all Step-up Card training documents and Poka Skill Set training. Provides guidance to SMEs for required training and ensures endorsements are aquired in order to be audit ready. Adheres to Rich's Safety program.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
- Manages assigned safety training (LOTO, GMP, company policies etc.)
- Updates all work instructions, SOP, OPL, etc. so Poka and assoiciates have the most updated skill training matrix
- Responsible for documenting and tracking training records as required by company guidelines.
- Prepare Step-up Card training agenda with leaders for new hires & transfers
- Coordinate Step-up Card (Poka) training with SMEs - manage process to completion
- Work with leaders for updating or creating proper procedures, training and new equipment/skills for training documentation process
- Verify training was successful by conducting audits as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Meet company policies (attendance, GMP, Conduct, etc.)
- Prior experience in plant environment a plus
- Experience in coaching/motivation and communication skills
- Bilingual
- Solid knowledge of company policies
- High School Diploma
- Requires minimum of 1-3 years of experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advance level skills with Microsoft Office programs to include Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
- Must be able to handle multiple assignments concurrently, possess excellent organizational and time management skills, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Must be able to speak in front of big groups, evalute and give feedback.
