Purpose Statement

The Corporate Accounting Department at Rich Products Corporation World Headquarters is seeking an intern who is highly motivated and detail-oriented to join our team.  As an Accounting Intern you will work 12-20 hours per week during school semesters and up to 29 hours during break/off semester time. 

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Student will assist with:
    •    Month-end accounting and reporting related to Cost Accounting, Transportation, Warehouse, and Distribution, Spoilage expenses
    •    Analytics and reconciliation of invoices posting in Workcycle and Ariba
    •    Prepare and post journal entries
    •    Reconcile Corporate intercompany accounts with domestic plants
    •    Review Global Market financials and prepare reconciliations
    •    System work to include working in SAP (training provided by RPC), Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word), Teams, and SharePoint
    •    Assist with other various department tasks and opportunity to work on special projects as they arise (i.e. depreciation, lease accounting, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

•    Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, working towards earning a Bachelor's or Masters degree (concentration in Accounting and/or Finance)
•    3.0 GPA or higher
•    Available to work 12-20 hours per week during school semesters and up to 29 hours during break/off semester time
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).  
•    Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required
•    Must be able to work well both autonomously and within a team environment
•    Demonstrate time management and organizational skills

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$17.00 - $23.00
