Purpose Statement

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical US Import Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US import regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The US Import Analyst will be responsible for handling all aspects of our import processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, optimizing import operations, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

•    Participate in all aspects of the company's import processes, including customs clearance, dispatching for final mile delivery, etc.
•    Stay current on changes to US import regulations and ensure that all import activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
•    Prepare and submit import documentation, including ISF’s, customs declarations, entry summaries, and other required paperwork.
•    Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, freight forwarders, and other third-party service providers to ensure timely and efficient import operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience


•    Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field – or – industry certification (such as CCS, CES or US Customs brokers license) preferred.
•    2+ years of experience in import/export operations, customs compliance, or related field.
•    Strong understanding of US import regulations, including HTS classification, customs valuation, and duty calculation.
•    Proficiency in import documentation and air/ocean customs clearance procedures.
•    Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze import data.
•    Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
•    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a time-sensitive environment.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with CargoWise software preferred.
•    Experience with import airfreight clearance and dispatch a plus.

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Rich’s”), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$25.99 - $35.17
