PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible to manage and grow the US export business and to drive knowledge sharing through virtual meetings and management of the Rich Connections Global Marketing Portal.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

Export Business Management 

  • Maintain continuous support of US export business to all global markets, including finished goods and ingredients through close collaboration with ICS&L and local     marketers
  • Translate needs of export markets throughout the WHQ infrastructure in order to engage the proper multi-functional resources
  • Business Lead for STM (Speed to Market) Projects: renovate and sustaining innovation product development; graphics development; network optimization
  • Project Manager for activities with multi-functional team: graphics updates; pricing updates; ingredient changes; supply chain changes

New Opportunity Exploration Support 

  • Independently manage export opportunities for existing products to new markets: compliance checks, pricing requests; Food Safety Review Board meetings
  • Provide product information to local teams who are evaluating new products and categories including product specs, features and benefits, any current capacity constraints, minimum volume requirements, etc. 
  • Champion of virtual tools and new technologies to drive connectivity:
  • Adept at cutting edge tools and technologies; able to partner with IS and other teams that are pushing the envelope in order to advance GMM Team
  • Responsible to run virtual meetings and conferences and to connect with regional teams and customers where required via digital tools

Knowledge sharing: 

  • Ensure timely update of Rich Connections Marketing portal with trend information, business updates, product content
  • Create and update presentations, reports, analytics
  • Create and update global marketing quarterly business updates (GMW); with addition of what’s new from the USC
  • Drive traffic to the portal through engaging content and headlines
  • Track and measure results on site visits and engagement of target audience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • BA required with an MBA preferred with a combined total of 2-4 years. progressive business experience (marketing and or/project management experience preferred.
  • Independent self-starter with proven ability to develop project plans and timelines for vague or ambiguous projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to conduct effective presentations to various audiences.
  • Ability to function positively in a team environment, as well as working and managing projects independently from start to finish 
  • Deadline and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong analytical skills; willingness to research broad or vague subjects / concepts, ability to decipher and report out relevant information 
  • Ability to adapt to various international cultures
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in hosting virtual meetings and live events in Microsoft teams
