PURPOSE STATEMENT

This individual is responsible for the functional ownership of vendor records.  The primary goal is to maintain data integrity to align with expedited onboarding of vendors on to the SAP Ariba platform.  Additional responsibilities would include data modeling of procurement (specifically procure to pay) data for data lake and creating analytics to support various business functions.  Ideal candidates will be self-starters able to work independently as well as collaborate with the Procure-to-Pay Transformation Team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

•    Define and formalize vendor onboarding and change process for SAP and SAP Ariba
•    Act as functional owner of vendor data to maintain records adhere to best practices and defined standards
•    Provide final sign-off for new vendor and vendor change requests
•    Manage vendor data cleansing activities including vendor deduplication and standardization within SAP platforms
•    Co-lead 3rd party project team surrounding data cleansing activities
•    Identify and implement process improvements around vendor data
•    Support and provide guidance for additional vendor data cleansing activities globally
•    Collaborate with Enterprise Data + Analytics Team to execute data modeling activities for P2P data within the enterprise data lake
•    Work with stakeholders to identify analytics opportunities
•    Build and maintain reporting and analytical dashboards within various platforms include Power BI and Ariba Reporting
•    Support and provide guidance on data best practices within procurement ahead of S/4 Hana migration

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, or similar field with a technology strength, strongly preferred
•    3-5 years of similar work experience required
•    Experience or knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, and SAP S/4HANA preferred
•    Familiarity with SQL language and building complex analytical reports using various technology stacks
•    Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
•    Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
•    Effective communicator both written and oral
•    Must be a self-starter willing to take initiative
