Purpose Statement
The Associate Product Marketing Manager, Pizza CBU is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the product category strategy and the management of assigned category.
This is a hybrid role based at our world headquarters in Buffalo, NY and will require in office collaboration Tuesday-Thursday.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
Planning
- Partner with category leadership to contribute to the development of category strategies and plans
- Execute assigned category plans to achieve market share, volume, and profit targets (including responding to trends, portfolio mapping, and innovation/renovation activity)
- Lead cross-functional teams on key initiatives, products, and programs
Understands the Market
- Understand the customer, competitor, consumer, and Rich’s capabilities, along with other insights that shape the category
- Perform competitive analysis, market quantification, and assessment
- Participate in discovery work to generate new products and platforms within target segments
- Drive the voice of the customer and support translation into business opportunities
- Leverage market understanding to generate insights that shape strategy and drive outcomes
Marketing Management
- Partner with category marketing leadership to:
- Assist in the development and implementation of brand strategy, marketing plans, and programs that deliver targeted results within budget
- Develop plans and collaborate with Customer/Segment Marketing to meet sales and margin targets
- Collaborate with Demand Creation COE digital resources to drive demand
Product Management
- Partner with category leadership to support development, maintenance, and overall management of assigned categories to maximize sales and profit potential, including:
- Drive renovation of existing products in alignment with category strategy
- Execute or lead innovation initiatives (scope, target customer, pricing strategy, launch strategy, opportunity assessment, P&L, etc.), consulting leadership as needed
- Support forecasting by providing input and oversight of demand plans, including risks and opportunities
- Own P&L for assigned category (actual vs. plan), analyze performance, and recommend actions
- Conduct analysis and make pricing recommendations for new and existing products based on value and competitive positioning
Financial Management
- Perform P&L analysis to identify trends, leverage opportunities, and manage risk
- Support execution of portfolio price increases
- Manage marketing budgets for assigned projects and initiatives
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required (MBA preferred) with 2+ years of experience in a product marketing role required. Experience in the food or CPG industry or passion for food
- Demonstrated strategic thinking skills
- Demonstrated financial skills to include P&L analysis and other analyses
- Solid communication skills to include verbal and written capabilities; strong presentation ability including with all audiences and levels of management
- Successful track record of uncovering VOC and interacting with customers
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work
- Proven track record of taking initiative and delivering results
- Solid software proficiency including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Travel required. May be up to 20% as needed for trade shows, plant and customer visits.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$84,235.00 - $113,965.00
