Purpose Statement

This position will primarily focus on managing claims but will also provide support for carrier compliance activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently processing claims, ensuring timely follow-up, and maintaining accurate documentation while also assisting with carrier set-ups, contracts, and compliance-related tasks.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

•    Report New Claims: Identify and report new claims (e.g., seal breaches, damages).
•    Submit Formal Claims: Prepare and submit formal claims to insurance carriers or relevant parties.
•    File Rail Claims: Submit rail claims and upload necessary supporting documents.
•    Send Claim Denial Letters: Issue claim denial letters when necessary.
•    Customer Packet Completion: Accurately fill out and complete customer claims packets.
•    Claim Entry: Enter claims data in the MEC system accurately and promptly.
•    Insurance/Carrier Notifications: Notify insurance carriers and involved parties of new claims or updates.
•    Document Uploads: Upload claims documentation to MEC and QET systems as required.
•    Claim Follow-Up: Track the status of open claims and ensure timely resolutions.
•    Draft Releases: Prepare release forms for settlements or closures of claims.
•    Insurance Requests: Handle requests from insurance providers in relation to claims.
•    Carrier Compliance Lists: Maintain compliance lists for carriers, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
•    Carrier Set-Ups: Support the process of setting up new carriers.
•    Carrier Contracts: Assist with drafting, reviewing, and processing carrier contracts.
•    Customer Contracts: Provide support with customer contracts related to claims and compliance.
 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

•    High School Diploma/GED required, Degree preferred.
•    Experience in claims processing, logistics, or insurance preferred.
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with MEC/QET systems a plus.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Rich’s”), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$44,030.00 - $59,570.00
