Purpose Statement
As the Customer Marketing Manager for National Chain Accounts within the Foodservice Division, you will lead strategic marketing initiatives that drive demand, loyalty, and growth across large U.S. restaurant chains. This role is pivotal in developing and executing customer-specific marketing plans, integrating insights from consumer behavior, category trends, and competitive intelligence. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Culinary, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, R&D, and Finance to deliver impactful programs that elevate our brand presence and drive measurable business results
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop and execute integrated marketing plans tailored to chain restaurants.
Lead the creation of 2-year operating plans and long-range strategies for assigned accounts.
Support joint business planning with strategic customers, aligning with sales leadership to establish robust customer plans.
Customer Engagement & Demand Creation
Activate marketing programs through collaboration with culinary, sales, digital marketing and agency partners.
Customize messaging and promotional efforts to resonate with chain restaurant operators.
Lead participation in key industry events and trade shows (e.g., IFMA, NRA).
Deliver the Rich Experience from initial contact through every customer touchpoint.
Market & Segment Analysis
Monitor competitive activity and consumption trends across the foodservice landscape.
Analyze multiple data sources to uncover actionable insights and inform strategy.
Partner with Research & Insights to conduct custom market research.
Conduct VOC (Voice of Customer) through market analysis.
Understand operator archetypes and path-to-purchase to inform marketing strategy.
Innovation & Product Launch Support
Provide VOC to support new product development and innovation platforms.
Collaborate with CBUs and Product Marketing to execute launches tailored to chain restaurant needs.
Support both sustaining and breakthrough innovation initiatives.
Financial Management
Manage segment P&L and marketing budget, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Measure and optimize ROI of promotions and demand creation efforts.
Identify gaps in demand vs. plan and develop gap-closing strategies with Sales.
Digital Marketing Integration
Influence digital content and ecommerce strategies for distributor platforms supporting chain accounts.
Ensure superior product content and brand representation across digital channels.
Foodservice Division Support
Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans for the foodservice division
Support the planning and execution of large-scale foodservice events, including trade shows, showcases, and customer summits.
Assist in the creation and rollout of division-wide marketing plans and calendars.
Partner with Strategic Insights to conduct market research and VOC studies that inform divisional strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and segment leaders to ensure alignment on divisional goals and initiatives.
Represent the foodservice division in internal planning meetings and external industry forums.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in foodservice or CPG.
- Proven success in strategic planning, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership.
- Strong analytical skills with experience managing P&Ls and marketing budgets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong knowledge of the MS office suite
- Travel up to 30%, strategically planned to support key accounts and initiatives.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$101,793.49 - $152,690.24
