Purpose Statement

The Fulfillment Planner coordinates the movement of inventory throughout the distribution network to fulfill customer demand.

 

This professional will be required to work a hybrid work schedule at our world headquarters in Buffalo, NY. 

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Plans and purchases inventory from Contract Manufacturers.
  • Develop deployment strategy based on current demand and production plans at the SKU location level.
  • Plan, create, change, and complete purchase orders within SAP.
  • Communicate purchase plans with contract manufacturers.
  • Manage potential inventory shortage reports. Take action to reduce shortages to customers.
  • Communicate customer shortages to Customer Service Representatives where appropriate.
  • Communicate significant inventory shortages to Supply Planners and/or Sales Channel Service Managers.
  • Maintain distribution center inbound schedule database.
  • Maintain the plant outbound shipment load plan.
  • Maximize Stock transfer order freight utilization.
  • Manage the movement of dc to dc inventory transfers through the C-item deployment process.
  • Track and develop improvement plans to reduce unplanned shortages.
  • Analyze and review inventory to minimize spoilage.
  • Develops actionable plans to improve customer order fill rate.
  • Maintain 3rd Party Transportation Providers inbound Scheduling tool.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or related field.
  • 3+ years of logistical planning, supply chain or related experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and customer service.
  • APICS certification or matriculation towards certification preferred.
  • Strong statistical and spreadsheet analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic financial analysis.
  • Superior critical thinking skills.
  • Great multi tasker and works well cross collaboratively
  • Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word,  PowerPoint (Access preferred); advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • SAP/ S4, Blue Yonder or related systems experience preferred

 

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$63,413.00 - $85,794.00
