The purpose of the Data Specialist role is to understand our systems, understand our data and question when things don’t look right—don’t worry, we won’t get mad. If you are shaking your head (up and down, not side to side) then here are some other interesting thoughts to consider: this role will require an understanding of our organization frontward and backward, which will help you see the outliers when reviewing and validating the system; and, this role will offer the power to govern how our systems are used, the power to speak up when there are better ways to do something, and the power to grow and advance. 


  1. Support the Global HRIS team with various project management duties including but not limited to: logistics, agenda management, note-taking, project communications, vendor support, etc.
  2. Be first level support for all tickets and issues resolution, escalating issues as necessary
  3. Have a deep understanding of our system and our organization to troubleshoot data integrity issues
  4. Understand how data flows and how to maneuver through global complexity with process and data
  5. Perform duties of varying complexity and confidentiality that support the HRIS and Insights team members
  6. Execute regression testing for quarterly releases and communicate back findings
  7. Audit system regularly for anomalies
  8. Update data as necessary
  9. Run reports as necessary 
  10. Oversee the HR SharePoint site
  11. Manage vendor invoices and monitor Capital budget
  12. Work closely with our Rich University team to ensure all training materials are accurate
  13. Manage the content and oversee the use of our HRIS learning tool (digital adoption platform)
  14. Supervise the outcome of integration to other HR systems.
  15. Work for COE’s to establish reports and dashboards to support their KPIs


  1. Bachelors degree in Business, HR, IS or other related field and two (2) years experience in HRIS or MBA/Masters degree in HR, IS or other related field and one (1) year experience in HRIS
  2. Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills including demonstrated experience in data oversight and collection
  3. Excellent Microsoft Office skills (O365 preferred)
  4. High learning agility
  5. Solid knowledge of HR processes   
  6. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead projects
  7. Demonstrated ability to partner with team and provide daily support
  8. Demonstrated customer-orientation including the ability to understand differing stakeholders’ perspectives/concerns as they relate to system usage
  9. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  10. Experience with SuccessFactors or other HRIS systems preferred
  11. Endless patience/high emotional intelligence
