Purpose Statement
Rich Products, a $5.5Billion food manufacturing company, is currently looking to hire an Integrated Supply Chain Planning Lead. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a well-coordinated and efficient supply chain, which is crucial for meeting customer demands, reducing costs and improving overall business performance. You will work closely with supply and demand teams, as well as operations and sales.
Our ideal candidate will bring their supply & demand experience within the food and beverage/CPG/FMCG industries, to provide end-to-end planning visibility within the division, and be able to assess risks and shortfalls, implementing solutions to mitigate these and provide best-in-class service to our customers.
Our preference is for this role to be located at our WHQ in Buffalo, NY, but we are open to remote applicants as well.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
• Demand and Supply Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand forecasts with supply chain capabilities, ensuring products are available when needed while minimizing excess inventory.
• Process Optimization: Streamline and improve supply chain planning processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management, production planning and distribution.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze historical data, market trends, and customer behavior to make informed decisions and optimize planning.
• Inventory Management: Partner with Inventory Manager to implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and improve product availability.
• Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks, such as supplier issues, transportation delays, or natural disasters.
• Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement supply chain planning software and technologies to enhance visibility and efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of goals and priorities.
• Establish a high-performance culture of accountability (clear targets and expectations), transparency, collaboration, and continuous learning. Identify opportunities and avenues for teams to learn and expand their skillset.
• Manage the development of the 21+ month forecast and demand plan at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons (operational and strategic).
• Promote objectivity for conflict resolution between Sales, Marketing and Demand Planning team during the consensus building process, prioritizing organizational goals over functional goals during consensus building process.
• Manage talent within the team and develop their competencies and career growth plan.
• Participate in industry, supply chain and technology forums and bring best practices around demand planning, industry trends and share lessons with the team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Extensive experience in supply chain planning and management.
• Strategic thinker: The capacity to align supply chain planning with strategic objectives.
• Customer Focus: A commitment to meeting customer demand and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Supply Chain Software: Familiarity with supply chain planning and management software like SAP, Blue Yonder and other planning tools.
• Strategic Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team of supply chain professionals and drive process improvements.
• Data Analysis: Proficiency in using data analysis tools to make data-driven decisions.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$125,280.00 - $187,920.00
