PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Internship will provide an authentic, hands-on learning experience in a dynamic marketing environment which exposes the Intern to a variety of marketing projects. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

  • Market research: conduct analysis/research on desserts and bakery trend data to support new product and strategic customer discovery process.
  • Analysis: analyze portfolio and industry data, trends, financials, etc. Develop conclusions and recommendations based on data.
  • Regularly participate in team meetings.
    Increase product knowledge in desserts and in-store bakery channel.
  • Work with cross functional teams to execute against annual strategic plan.
  • New product development: research flavor trends, support New Product Development project team deliverables, work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Promotional support: support advertising / marketing agency projects, including point of sale coordination (photo shoots, concept development, execution, budget tracking, timeline management, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • First year of MBA student in Marketing or related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in quantitative / analytical skills to include interpretation, identifying trends, budgeting, etc.
  • Ideally, some passion or interest in food!
