PURPOSE STATEMENT

This position will be occupied by a student in the midst of their Mechanical Engineering degree, usually at the 3rd or 4th year. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

A mechanical engineering intern must be able to:

  • Articulate themselves verbally in order to communicate their ideas clearly to other
  • Assist with engineering support on the Global Technology Development Team:
    • CAD drafting & rendering
    • 3D Printing
    • Design verification and validation testing
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Prior experience with engineering tools and hands-on prototyping is a plus
  • Proficient with SOLIDWORKS; GrabCAD Print, MS Word, Excel preferred
  • Demonstrated application of mechanical engineering principles and technical problem solving
  • CAD software: SOLIDWORKS/AutoCAD, Computer Rendering programs
