Purpose Statement
This is an exciting opportunity for a student who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-driven! In this role you will work with our Global Markets Corporate Finance Department supporting various functions with financial reporting and analysis.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
· Develop and maintain automated reporting tools using Power BI and/or Excel VBA.
· Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
· Assist in the migration of legacy reports to modern platforms (e.g. Power BI).
· Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
· Help with documenting processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
· Support projects to better understand economic impacts on business financial results (e.g. market growth rate, inflation rates, consumer price index).
· Support additional projects to find correlations across financial data captured with other data sets.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
· Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, working towards earning a Bachelor's or Masters degree (concentration in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science or related field).
· Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
· Ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft excel and/or other tools.
· Proficiency in other Microsoft Office Suite programs.
· Experience with Oracle BI tools, Power BI, and SAP preferred, but not required.
· Functional competencies to include strong financial & interpersonal/communication skills.
· Need to have a general understanding of accounting and U.S. GAAP.
