Rich Products Corporation currently has a great opportunity for a Food Product & Technology Development Intern under the Global Technology R&D Department for a Summer Internship. We are looking for someone that has a passion for innovation and an interest working with plant based products.


The primary function of this position is to assist the Lead Scientist in benchtop and/or pilot scale processing including organizing and scaling of ingredients and running product development test trials.  The intern will perform analytical testing of different food products, collect and organize/summarize data and assist in other laboratory work as requested by the Lead Scientist.  The intern will have good exposure to the intricacies of food technology and research & development and will gain knowledge and techniques on food processing and analytical testing.  Hands-on training on food processing and analytical methods will be provided as needed. 


Education Requirements:  Must be enrolled in an accredited institution, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Science / Food Chemistry or related field. 

Other Requirements:  Excellent written, verbal and computer skills (Microsoft Office - word, excel, power point); must demonstrate ability to work independently as well as work efficiently with other team members; strong analytical skills; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; knowledge on food processing, and physical and chemical analyses preferred.
