Rich Entertainment Group is seeking a motivated, resourceful and tech-savvy student to serve as a social media intern. The successful candidate will have an interest in social media, communications, marketing and reputation management. The intern is responsible for planning social media calendars, creating social media posts, social media monitoring and listening, running analytics reports, and assisting with brainstorming campaigns. To be successful as a Social Media Intern you must have excellent knowledge of various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Applicants should demonstrate strong writing ability, organizational skills, the ability to work both as part of a team and solo. The candidate combines creative campaign ideas with analytical skills to create successful posts.


Work with the on-site Social Media Strategist to create and implement campaigns.

• Assist in developing content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for company brands.

• Monitoring and replying to comments and private inbox messages from customers (under supervision from the Content and Social Media Strategist)

• Brainstorm campaign ideas that contribute to engaging content for our various target audiences.

• Provide support during LIVE videos and promotional events.

• Assist with posting on various social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn), ensuring uniform content and tone of voice for landing pages and graphics.

• Analyze analytics to gauge the success of campaigns and adjust accordingly.

• Conceptualize, create and publish daily content (combining both original text and images and videos provided by the Content and Social Media Strategist) that enhances affinity for The Rich Entertainment Group brand and individual businesses, shares stories of our community’s successes, builds meaningful connections and encourages engagement.

• Employ innovative tactics to grow the audiences of each social media account.

• Repurpose content from other sources for our own social media channels (and understand how to change the tone of the content for each channel).

• Serve as an ambassador for The Rich Entertainment Group brand and individual businesses, by seeking out story ideas for social media, using your existing connections to invite friends and family to join REG pages, sharing post from the business page to your personal timeline to expand our networks, posting from special events and encourage followers/fan base to do the same.


Pursuing a degree in Communications or a related field.

• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms.

• Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook/Instagram Insights.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a passion for writing both short- and long-form copy.

• Ability to multitask.

Energetic and creative mindset.

• Hard-working and team-oriented.

• Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn.

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
