PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Rich Products Corporation World Headquarters US & Canada Supply Chain Finance Dept. is seeking an intern who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-driven to join the team. We are looking for someone that is available to intern year round. During the school year we will work around your availability due to your class schedule. You must be currently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance program and if you are in your senior year, enrolled in a graduate program to be considered. 

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

Assist with various financial reporting & analysis to support Operations finance.   Reporting & analysis to include:

- Plant month end reporting

- Weekly energy reporting

- Monthly reporting flash, actual and YTD financial Summary

- Support ROCS (Reduce our Costs) administrators as requested 

- Member of ROCS project team to support the development of cloud-based program design

- Product code reporting as requested.

- Ad-hoc analysis for various Finance requests.

- Assistance with journal entry back up analysis

- Assistance with Capex post audit

- Assistance with Cost Savings (ROCS) audit

- Assist with our target setting process i.e. plant analysis and corporate charges.

- Communicating with USC division and operations Finance and plant controllers to understand requests, prepare & share results

- Utilize SAP, BW, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint to collect data and prepare reports

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, working towards earning a B.S. or MBA degree (concentration in Accounting or Finance)

3.0 GPA or higher

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

Functional competencies to include strong financial, web design, project management & interpersonal skills

SAP experience from coursework is ideal
