Purpose Statement

The intern will be responsible for supporting Rich’s dynamic Desserts Business Unit, providing a hands-on learning experience and opportunity to apply knowledge in a fast-paced environment across a variety of business and marketing-related projects.  

 

This intern will work at our world headquarters in Buffalo NY and must be able to work up to 29 hours/ week in the summer and 15+ hours/ week in the fall of 2026. 

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Industry & Category Knowledge: Develop product knowledge across desserts product categories and key strategic sales channels. 
  • Analysis: Support collection and analysis of portfolio and industry data, trends, competitive set, financials, etc. to inform conclusions and recommendations based on data. 
  • New Product Development: Support project team deliverables collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, including launch communication and support tools. 
  • Marketing Support: Assist with various administrative duties from sample request fulfillment to presentation and meeting support, coordination of cuttings, completion of process forms, etc.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Currenlty enrolled in a master's program with concentration in marketing or related field. Strong 4th year bachelor's student's will be considered but master's student preferred. 
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in quantitative / analytical skills.
  • Must be comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency. Ideally, some passion or interest in food! 
  • Ability to work up to 29 hours/ week in the summer and 15+ hours/ week in the fall of 2026 at our worldheadquarters in Buffalo NY. 

 

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$17.00 - $29.00
