Purpose Statement
The intern will be responsible for supporting Rich’s dynamic Pizza, Breads, and Handhelds Business Unit, providing hands-on learning experience and opportunities to apply knowledge in a fast-paced environment across a variety of business and marketing-related projects.
This internship will be aprox 12-20 hours/ week in the spring and fall and up to 29 hours/ week in the summer of 2026 at our world headquarters in Buffalo, NY
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
- Marketing Support: Assist with various administrative duties including sample request fulfillment, sample inventory organization, presentation support, coordination of product cuttings, completion of process forms, note taking, etc.
- Customer Support: Coordinate and support Customer visits to WHQ, which includes ordering necessary product samples and setting up product cuttings.
- Trade Show/Events: Support CBU events by coordinating products, meeting space, travel, meeting materials, catering, etc.
- Category Analysis: Support collection and analysis of portfolio and industry data, trends, financials, etc. to inform conclusions and recommendations based on data.
- Competitive Analysis: Evaluate competitive sets, including coordination and documentation of competitive product cuttings and product matches.
- Industry & Category Knowledge: Develop product knowledge across the Pizza, Breads, and Handhelds product categories and key strategic sales channels.
- Product Development and Launch Support: Assist with project team deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, including launch communication and support tools.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Students must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in marketing, communications or related field in the spring, summer, and fall of 2026 and work onsite at our world headquarters in Buffalo, NY
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask. Must be comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency. Organizational skills are a must.
- Must be resourceful, able to figure out who or where to look for information.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote).
- Ideally, some passion or interest in food!

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$17.00 - $24.00
