PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Off Premise Catering Representative will assist with execution of drop-off catering as well as work for and/or at catering events as needed.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
  • Deliver creative, innovative and attractive set-ups for drop-off breakfasts, lunches and dinners; ensuring cleanliness of all supplies / equipment in order to professionally and safely display and  serve product
  • Responsible for cleanup and pick up of all supplies / equipment after every drop off; ensuring proper return and storage of all supplies / equipment
  • Assist porter team with loading food and supplies / equipment onto trucks for delivery to events
  • Assist porter team with cleaning, maintaining and polishing equipment as needed
  • Assist Purchaser and Sous Chef with picking up orders from area vendors as needed
  • Implement and oversee weekly, monthly, and yearly vehicle maintenance plan for catering trucks
  • Provide an exceptional Rich Experience to all customers
  • Serve and/or bartend at events in the Atrium or offsite as needed
  • Assist Campus Foodservice with obtaining or picking items for an event including last minute items
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Restaurant experience required, specifically table service and bartending experience
  • Knowledge of catering and catering setups
  • Good social skills and professional customer service skills
  • Able to quickly and efficiently field problems that may be encountered with drop off catering
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge a plus
  • Clean and valid driver’s license
  • ServSafe or comparable certification preferred but not required
