PURPOSE STATEMENT

 

The P2P System Administrator is responsible for being the primary owner of administration for Ariba and Guided Buying.  Responsibilities will include managing Ariba catalogs, user support for system related issues, maintaining user roles/groups, and managing Ariba configuration adjustments/changes.  Ideal candidates will be self-starters able to work independently as well as collaborate with the Procure-to-Pay Transformation Team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

  • System administrator for global Ariba P2P environment for changes in configuration, approval flow or invoice exception/reconciliation rules
  • Upload, test, approve supplier catalogs; both punch-out and CIF (buyer managed)
  • System administrator to create/manage tiles on Guided Buying
  • High level user support when software malfunctions or data is inaccurate or missing
  • Pass support tickets relating to data integrations to IS through Service Now
  • Manage/monitor user functionality/enhancement requests
  • High level supplier support for issues with Ariba catalogs, process flows and data issues
  • Maintains user roles/groups and their access
  • Maintain tool expertise on best practices and the latest functionalities to proactively make enhancement recommendations
  • Create reports within the Ariba platform to support end user requests
  • Create/maintain Power BI dashboards for Ariba data
  • Run scheduled tasks as needed for Ariba application data imports/exports
  • Manage sprints for new releases and enhancements
  • Create tickets with Ariba Connect support team where needed
  • Support global system configurations under parent and child realms as project continues
  • P2P System Administrator will have full ownership of all system realms
  • Work closely with IS dept to manage new data sources, fields and hierarchies
  • Work closely with Supplier Enablement Administrator to align with supplier onboarding waves
  • Work with Purchasing Assistant to support Ariba technical issues and user troubleshooting

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or similar field with a technology strength
  • 1-3 years of similar work experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with system administration in Ariba Buying & Invoicing preferred but not required
  • Procurement knowledge or experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working in a large, complex multi-location manufacturing organization
  • Effective communicator both written and oral
  • Must be a self-starter willing to take initiative
  • Technical aptitude
