Purpose Statement
The Sales Operations Analyst will organize and leverage available data and manage/work to make various systems available to all sales associates and the achievement of their respective objectives. The analyst will also handle all sales support functions such as brokerage payments, SAP table maintenance, and pricing updates.
This is hybrid opportunity and in office work will be required Tuesday-Thursday at our world headquarters in Buffalo, NY
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
- Preparation of monthly sales transfers for our bakery divisions (support will cross over into other divisions as well)
- Preparation and entering of monthly brokerage adjustments – bakery divisions Manual reconciliation due to sales transfers and other broker setups changes
- Own, adjust, and maintain commission contracts in new S4 ERP system
- Maintain Brokerage table (as needed) - bakery divisions New additions and adjustments to the table Updated base price due to divisional pricing actions
- Support all US/C with sales structure changes and/or adjustments (as needed)
- Pricing & Price Increase Events Price capture files for field sales Support price increase communication efforts Research and resolve pricing discrepancies using knowledge of trade & pricing systems, methods, and practices. Create and maintain customer contact lists for communication and discrepancy resolution
- Broker community support Brokerage detail and reconciliation Sales detail and tracking Pricing issues
- Acquisition/Merger support Broker set up Brokerage rate set up Customer Structure Assist category teams with pricing setup in SAP
- Act as supply chain liaison to help with escalation issues between sales & customer service. This involves attending the weekly planning meeting with focus on major issues impacting sales, allocations or disco communications, and seasonal planning exercises.
- Support recall efforts when they arise by organizing, communicating, and executing the resolution plans. Maintain and document recall policies and key contacts for all customers.
- Assist sales with web cycle and A/P requests to ensure proper coding and accounting.
- Development and execution of Topping and Icing Program (semi-annual) Division 53 & 74 In conjunction with marketing and senior VP’s of Sales
- Calculation of Topping and Icing Program (monthly and semi-annual) Division 53 & 74 Calculation & check preparation Communication to field and brokers
- FSD Agency Program – calculation and incentive tracking
- New item setup process – collect and publish new distributor item numbers to our websites and apps and assist with customer policies for new item setup.
- EDI Redistribution – oversee indirect redistribution accounts and complete month-end remapping processes to move history to correct ship point.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with a business, finance, accounting or related concentration required.
Minimum 2 years of analytical, business, finance or related experience. Degree, work study and internships will be considered in lieu of work experience.
Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook. SAP or financial systems a plus.
Strong communication (written/verbal) skills.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work on a team and independently.
Customer service personality.
Strong attention to detail in creating reports and materials; data entry, etc.
Background in finance with a solid understanding of information services systems and application.
Statistical experience a plus.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$62,900.00 - $85,100.00
