Purpose Statement

The Sr. Sourcing Specialist, Indirect will report directly to the Director, Indirect Strategic Category Leadership and be responsible for the day-to-day effective buying and planning of corporate indirect materials and services. The Buyer will play a key role in the Source-to-Pay process; supporting adherence to category strategies, ensuring preferred suppliers are used, compliance with policies, and enabling full coverage of source-able spend. This position will act as a strategic buying function, supporting the execution of competitive bid events, evaluating bids and providing award recommendations, executing PO’s, and following up with suppliers in relation to contract compliance. The scope of this position requires working closely with internal and external cross-functional departments to maximize potential value for transactions. The position will also play a pivotal role in assisting all Strategic Category Leaders with lower level sourcing & category management. Critical role as the administrator of the new Sourcing Request Form process.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Supports category strategy and maximizes value by touching the end-to-end requisitioning process depending on established purchasing policies and spend thresholds · Category Leader for USC National Copier Spend · Reviews low-to-medium spend and recommends Strategic Category Leader opportunities to leverage relationships with strategic suppliers · Supports Strategic Category leaders in conducting sourcing events for Mid-Low Tail Spend Opportunities. · Reviews business requirements, category strategy and available market to determine the appropriate suppliers to conduct sourcing buying activities · Executes one-off-project buys and competitive bid events (e.g., RFQ) for small to medium sized projects that desire execution in an efficient manner, resulting in execution of PO with selected supplier(s). · Evaluates supplier bids and provides an award recommendation to the end user(s) · Conducts first level contract discussions with suppliers and escalates to Legal and/or Indirect Category Leaders to resolve supplier issues with Standard PO T&C’s · Works closely with category leaders & business stakeholders to understand needs, specifications, and timelines for indirect items and materials requested and communicate expectations to suppliers · Monitors contract and pricing compliance between Rich’s and suppliers · Communicates with suppliers to ensure delivery requirements are met to support business needs and communicating proactively with internal departments any sourcing or delay issues · Maintain procurement records such as: items or services purchased, costs, delivery details, product quality or performance, etc. · Considered an integral part of the P2P process and will assist the

P2P, where applicable and from a Strategic Category Management perspective, on the Ariba system · Review Ariba Spend Analytics to identify, proactively, Mid to Long tail sourcing opportunities

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$76,448.00 - $103,430.00
