Purpose Statement

The Social Media Coordinator supports the Performance Marketing team as part of the USA/Canada region’s Digital Marketing Team. This role is responsible for supporting content creation, post scheduling, community management coordination, and reporting across all channels managed by the Associate Managers. The Coordinator will help scale Rich’s social presence, amplify our brands, and distribute content that inspires and resonates with our audience. Our brands include, but are not limited to, Rich Products, Farm Rich, SeaPak, Morey’s, f’real, Christie Cookies, and more.

 

This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our world headquarters in Buffalo NY 

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Content Creation and Post Scheduling 

  • Support the creation of fresh, engaging content that resonates with our audience, including short-form videos, photos, and graphics, you will do this both independently and in partnership with an agency.
  • Capture and edit short-form videos optimized for social media platforms (e.g., Reels, TikTok, Shorts), ensuring high-quality, on-brand content that aligns with platform trends and audience preferences.
  • Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to quickly capture and create timely, on-trend content that aligns with our brand.
  • Assist in the development of monthly content calendars in collaboration with brand teams and agency partners, ensuring alignment with strategy and integrated marketing plans.
  • Schedule posts through the social media management platform, Brandwatch, ensuring timely and accurate posting across all channels.
  • Monitor and adjust post schedules as needed to optimize engagement and reach.

Community Management Coordination 

  • Coordinate community management efforts, including responding to comments, direct messages, and engaging with followers to build a strong social community following a response matrix.
  • Collaborate with Associate Managers to ensure consistent and timely responses to community interactions.
  • Identify and escalate any potential issues or opportunities for deeper engagement to the Associate Managers.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Assist in analyzing and reporting on monthly social media performance, delivering insights, learnings, and opportunities based on metrics.
  • Support the development of reports that track KPIs such as reach, engagement, conversions, and traffic generation to the website.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve social media strategies and tactics.

General Team Support

  • Support marketing budget for assigned projects/initiatives.
  • Provide back-up support to the Performance Marketing Team, as needed.
  • Participate in Agile work to advance Digital Demand Creation initiatives, as required.
  • Support Demand Creation, Center of Excellence team initiatives, meeting preparation, and facilitation, as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field with 1-3 years of social media experience.
  • Previous experience managing social media accounts is preferred.
  • Exposure to Social Media Management Platforms/Brandwatch is preferred.
  • Experience creating graphics for social media platforms, with an eye for brand consistency and audience appeal, is required.
  • Experience with shooting and editing short-form video is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to include solid presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a fast learner and adapt to change, assimilating new software, procedures, and techniques as they are introduced.
  • Proactive with the ability to anticipate, initiate, and prioritize tasks.
  • Intermediate analytical skills to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Working experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Adobe Premiere Rush) is preferred.
  • Solid software proficiency to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (Intermediate to advanced level Excel and PowerPoint User).

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$47,685.00 - $64,515.00
