Rich’s is growing our application development team at our world headquarters in Buffalo, NY. We are looking for a collaborative, self-directed, and customer focused leader to join our IT Engineering development team. In this critical “seller-doer” role, you will oversee a portfolio of projects, architect new solutions, and develop applications using .NET, C#, SQL, and PowerBi technologies to support Rich Product’s growth strategy.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership with a hands-on approach for architecting and project managing software solutions using the .NET MVC, C#, SQL and PowerBi


  • Collaborate with internal associates to architect all aspects of new software applications
  • Develop and manage project plans using agile, DevOps, or Waterfall frameworks
  • Oversee progress of development team or external resources to ensure consistency with initial design
  • Communicate the “big picture” to senior supply chain leaders
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate into technical specifications
  • Perform design/analysis activities on small, medium, and large projects
  • Develop and configure applications using .Net MVC C#, JavaScript, WebAPI, HTLM5 (Bootstrap, JQuery and AJAX preferred), SQL Server, and/or PowerBi




Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MIS, CS or related field, a minimum of 3 years of experience in application development and/or system integration.

Minimum 2 years of project management experience


Familiarity with Agile and/or DevOps framework


Experience using Microsoft products: Windows Servers, SQL Server (stored procedures, query writing, reporting services), and Microsoft.Net


Familiarity with Microsoft Power Bi; Analytics and data presentation

Ability to build close relationships with senior business leaders


Programming skills: .Net MVC C#; JavaScript; WebAPI; HTLM5 (Bootstrap, JQuery and AJAX preferred); SQL Server; Experience with WebAPIs: (.net WebAPI and REST)

Strong PC Skills, proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)

Demonstrated time management and organizational skills

Must be able to perform successfully in a fast paced results oriented environment


Minimal Travel (up to 10% of time)
