PURPOSE STATEMENT

This individual will play a key role in managing business categories for Rich Products, owning the relationship with assigned Global and /or Regional suppliers. They will work strategically to continuously improve the value they deliver, and enhance relationships both internally and externally.
 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

Strategic Sourcing & Savings:
⦁    Develop long-term sourcing roadmap
⦁    Execute sourcing events
⦁    Optimize total cost of ownership 
⦁    Identify and implement cost savings initiatives
⦁    Utilize the 7-step sourcing process 

Supplier Relationship Management:
⦁    Negotiates and maintains supplier agreements 
⦁    Employ key supplier metrics that drive consistent service levels and timely action plans to resolve issues
⦁    Daily management of suppliers for: forecasting, pricing, invoicing and inventory levels.  Conduct periodic supplier reviews and visits.
⦁    Execute a strategy for assigned categories that aligns with business goals and leverages Supplier Relationship Management best practices

Financial Risk Management:
⦁    Analyze and interpret market information for monthly forecasts
⦁    Leverage financial risk management tools to execute a risk management strategy for key commodities that drive category prices

Business Support:
⦁    Support global partners by providing market insight for shared markets, drive efficiencies and innovation

Leadership:
⦁    Effectively communicate with leadership and key stakeholders, understand the voice of the customer, demonstrate leadership as the subject matter expert.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

⦁    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, and minimum 5 years job related experience, or Master’s degree in related field with minimum 3 years job related experience
⦁    Understand fundamental market conditions related to assigned categories, as well as the key macroeconomic influences that drive market price fluctuations.
⦁    Excellent technical skills (Excel, Word, database, statistical software) 
⦁    Experience with data modeling and data management
⦁    Previous Finance and/or Financial Analysis experience preferred
