Purpose Statement
The Senior Account Manager for the OTR division will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic growth and development of key client accounts within the over-the-road transportation sector. Leveraging a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, this individual will drive sales initiatives, cultivate long-term relationships, and deliver tailored solutions that exceed client expectations. The Senior Account Manager will serve as a mentor and leader within the account management team, providing guidance and support to junior colleagues while championing best practices and continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
• Strategic Account Management: Lead the strategic planning and execution of account management activities for key clients, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and revenue targets.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our presence within the OTR transportation market, leveraging existing client relationships and prospecting for new business.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at client organizations, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
• Solution Design and Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative transportation solutions that address client needs and deliver measurable value.
• Contract Negotiation and Pricing Strategy: Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with clients, leveraging market insights and competitive intelligence to optimize profitability and drive revenue growth.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and service levels for assigned accounts, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Market Intelligence and Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior account management team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the logistics industry or at least 2 years of experience in Customer Operations with a proven track record of success in customer acquisitions, retention, and pricing.
• Deep understanding of over-the-road transportation processes and market dynamics, including truckload, LTL, and intermodal.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex sales strategies.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Rich’s”), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$70,120.00 - $94,990.00
