The Sr. Regulatory Compliance Specialist will actively support ROAR’s international import/export operations to ensure that we and our customers are compliant with all federal regulations. This role is designed for a candidate who will progressively take on greater leadership responsibility after gaining the necessary experience and expertise.
 

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

•    Provide guidance and support to the internal team on customs-related matters as they relate to importer/broker compliance
•    Remain current with changes in Customs laws and regulations
•    Assist with internal training and customer education regarding rapidly changing tariffs
•    Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with customs regulations and tariff changes
•    Assist with post entry claims as needed 
•    Assist with Liquidated Damages/Penalty cases as needed
•    Ensure Power of Attorney compliance
•    Process continuous bonds and any updates applicable to current bonds caused by increased tariffs
•    Proactively seek/suggest solutions for enhancing operational efficiencies
•    Develop and document compliance procedures

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

•    A U.S. Customs Broker License is essential for this role
•    A minimum of 8 years’ experience working in Customs brokerage; fluency in customs compliance is preferred, 10 years preferred
•    Willing to be mentored/developed for leadership role in the division
•    Excellent written and oral communication & presentation skills 
•    Extremely organized with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy 
•    Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment 
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite;  experience with CargoWise is a distinct advantage

 

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Rich’s”), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$74,630.00 - $100,970.00
