PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Supplier Enablement Administrator is an entry level role responsible for the implementation of enabling suppliers onto Ariba, our eProcurement application.  This role will manage the supplier lifecycle from adding new suppliers to the existing ERP system, and then onboarding to the Ariba platform while tracking supplier compliance.  Additionally, they will be responsible for facilitating supplier training sessions and supplier summits.  Ideal candidates will be self-starters able to work independently as well as collaborate with the Procure-to-Pay Transformation Team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
  • Manage supplier integration into the Ariba Network, educate suppliers on Rich’s supplier enablement process once the supplier is approved by Category Managers, and validate suppliers are active in the P2P and ERP systems for procurement transactions
  • Run trainings and supplier summits as they transition for the first time on to the Ariba Network.
  • Serve as Ariba Network administrator
  • Track onboarding deadlines for supplier enablement to ensure project timelines are met
  • Recommend wave plan strategies to Procure-to-Pay Transition Team
  • Serve as the supplier’s point of contact to address questions and gather necessary information for supplier enablement and updated supplier contact information
  • Conduct preliminary mapping to supplier specifications including unit of measures, ship to addresses and location codes, and ensure all data required is successfully aligned and connected without error
  • Manage preferred supplier status designations in SAP ERP and Ariba systems by coordinating with Category Managers and AP
  • Address and troubleshoot supplier related issues and miscellaneous administrative tasks related to suppliers
  • Create/manage new vendors to be added into SAP ECC & Ariba Network
  • Work with Category Managers to source suppliers when requested by users
  • Track failed documents in Ariba Buyer Network and reach out to supplier to address and correct issues
  • Act as backup for supporting creation of complex non-catalog requisitions and capital orders in Ariba
  • Create metrics as needed related to supplier compliance and onboarding
  • Maintains close working relationships with: Procure-to-Pay Transformations Team, Procurement Category Managers, Supplier points of contact, Internal supplier stakeholders and IS systems analysts/administrators
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Administration Management or similar field
  • 1-3 years of similar work experience preferred but not required
  • Experience managing customer/supplier relationships
  • Procurement knowledge or experience
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working in a large, complex multi-location manufacturing organization
  • Effective communicator both written and oral
  • Must be a self-starter willing to take initiative
  • Technical aptitude
