Purpose Statement
As the Tax Accountant you will support the preparation of income tax compliance, provide general assistance with domestic tax matters, and contribute to value-added projects as required.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
- Prepare federal, state, and city tax returns, including quarterly estimates and annual extensions for RPC and related entities
- Compile data for incorporation into work papers of RPC and related entities for annual federal tax provision
- Address federal and state assessments, notices, and general inquiries from governmental agencies
- Assist the Sr Manager/VP of global tax on various projects
- Assist with federal and state tax audits to ensure efficiency and timely completion
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field with 1-3 years of experience; CPA preferred
- Adaptability to change in a dynamic work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented,
- Proficient in tax research tools, tax compliance software (OneSource Income Tax), and standard MS Office programs, SAP, SAP 4 Hana experience a plus,
- Comprehensive understanding of ASC 740 and general accounting principles,
- Motivated to grow in technical tax knowledge,
- Ability to develop, implement and improve processes

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$66,629.08 - $90,145.23
