Purpose Statement

ROAR Logistics is seeking a dynamic and driven Carrier Sales Rep. to join our team in Chandler, AZ. You will play a crucial role in our operations, working both independently and collaboratively to ensure the efficient transportation of freight while optimizing margins and fostering strong carrier relationships.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

•    Utilize industry knowledge and experience to source and secure qualified carriers for timely freight transportation, maximizing margins and minimizing risks.
•    Develop and maintain a robust network of carriers to support ROAR's customer base and pre-plan carrier equipment usage for optimal efficiency.
•    Analyze market trends, load history, and industry publications to make informed buying decisions and negotiate competitive rates with carrier partners.
•    Proactively reach out to carriers through outbound calls and other channels to capture truckload capacity and expand fleet usage.
•    Collect and update carriers' daily and weekly capacity/availability data into our Transportation Management System (TMS).
•    Ensure compliance with ROAR's carrier set-up and compliance procedures and guidelines.
•    Dispatch drivers with attention to detail, inputting all pertinent driver and shipment details into the TMS system and providing ongoing communication and updates until completion.
•    Act as a problem-solver and solutions-provider, addressing issues promptly and effectively for customers, carriers, and internal associates.
•    Perform additional tasks as assigned by the ROAR Management team.
 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

•    High School Diploma or equivalent GED required. Associate Degree in Logistics, or one to two years of experience in the logistics industry preferred.
•    Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics operations.
•    Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Email System.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Rich’s”), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$43,316.00 - $58,604.00
