Purpose Statement

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for reconciling production from the previous day, comparing our inventory from 1372 & 1262, making sure we place the orders we need for the following day, staying on top of expiration dates, and ensuring we are going in FIFO.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Must place necessary orders for the next day’s production run
  • Checking expiration dates and notifying the manager on upcoming expiration dates
  • UPS & AIT shipments
  • Reconciling production from the previous day
  • Compare on-hand stock from 1372 & 1262
  • Maintaining an account of the entire supplies, raw and packaging materials inventory in the warehouse
  • Ensuring the proper labeling and tagging of goods and materials
  • Assigning work and functions to all warehouse workers and staff during his/her shift
  • Adhering to the compliance of all legal, food safety, food quality and safety procedures of the company
  • Communicate with the Cold Storage facilities to coordinate inbound finished product loads when the supervisor is absent

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Read, write, and speak English
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or similar software
  • Good teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet necessary targets.
  • Knowledge and capacity to efficiently delegate work.
  • Analytical and operational skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work setting.
  • 2 years degree (5+ years of work experience may be substituted for a degree)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a distribution or warehouse facility; previous experience working in a production plant is a plus.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office (WORD & EXCEL)
  • Previous experience using Syspro and riteSCAN is a plus.

 

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
