Purpose Statement
Sanitation (Group Leader) (Clerk) will supervise and coordinate the activities of sanitation associates, ensuring proper sanitation practices.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
The Sanitation Group Leader will oversee sanitation associates and will motivate, mentor, and train on sanitation standards and procedures
Inspects equipment ensuring regulatory requirements are met and plant equipment is clean and safe for productions
Develops SSOPS and establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
Inspects premises for unsanitary practices and conditions and directs cleaning of equipment and work areas
Conducts sanitation audits and compiles required reports regarding regular inspections, sanitation violations, and steps taken to resolve deficiencies
Be able to use chemicals in a safe manner (follow chemical instructions)
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
Prep all lines for pre-op inspection in a timely manner
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems
Maintain knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, FDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies
Responsible for writing work orders for any equipment needing repair
Keeping and maintaining the sanitation training matrix and sanitation verification records
Assisting other departments as requested in a safe and timely manner.
Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions or injuries immediately.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrate ability to understand and take directions
Effective Communications skills

SSOP and LOTO - Provide guidance on expectations for the year regarding SSOP and LOTO validations.
Knowledge of equipment design, hazards, and power sources.
Creation of SSOP & LOTO procedures for current/new equipment.
Validation of new LOTO procedures to ensure effectiveness.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to work in wet and dusty conditions
Able to climb up to 55 feet.
COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
