Meet Your Job


The Equipment Order Processing Manager, reporting to the Vice President of Finance & Operations, will lead a small team responsible for executing equipment orders from creating orders to order billing. You will also oversee the equipment inquiry and resolution process. As a proactive and forward thinker, you will manage the constant assessment of order processes, tasks, and systems and lead the development of actionable improvements to support the growth of the business into new channels and markets. 



  • Executing Equipment Order Processes (key activities)
    1. Creating Sales and Purchase Orders
    2. Shipping set-up and confirmations
    3. Overseeing Quote process
    4. Tracking and reporting orders
    5. Order Billing
  • Equipment Order Processing Management
    1. Evaluating and proactively maintaining shipping schedule to maximize units shipped within fiscal periods
    2. Replying to, monitoring, and managing equipment related inquires and issues received from sales, customers, vendors, and other internal groups
    3. Proactive management and audit of period close, ensuring all orders are billed in period; managing and resolving billing issues and exceptions
    4. Driving inter-company communication and reporting regarding estimated and scheduled equipment shipments 
    5. Developing and managing process metrics and dashboard to measure and evaluate team performance and workload
    6. Participating in monthly integrated business planning meetings
  • Other
    1. Tracking and resolving equipment damages, returns, and swaps. 
    2. Overseeing Capital budget

Qualifications and Requirements 


  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence people on “new” ways to approach problems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work with various functions across a multitude of management levels
  • 3+ years customer service experience
  • 7+ years order processing, operations experience
  • Extensive Salesforce & SAP experience required
  • Humble with a ‘can-do, will-do’ attitude
  • Self-driven, positive, results-oriented performer
