Meet Your Job

The Marketing Analyst (MA) reports to the Senior Marketing Manager and leads key analyses to make recommendations to the Marketing team.  The key objective of the position is to collect, report on, analyze and draw insights and recommendations from a variety of internal and external data sources. The goal is to utilize these tools to better support customer conversations and overall business recommendations that drive our f’real cup velocity and utilize our marketing dollars in the most effective way. This role will interface with both Consumer & Retail Marketing, as well as Sales and Finance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

Key account - reporting & analytics:

  • The MA position would allocate a large majority of time to supporting the Elite account team as a key stakeholder. Activities would focus on reporting and analytical support including:
  • Deep dives on performance: internal cup shipments, IRI consumption, blender data, and customer data to connect the dots and tell a story
  • Category/industry insights: total c-stores, frozen beverages, macro trends, QSRs/other competitive channels
  • LTO and new flavor forecasting and tracking
  • Promotional/TPR performance
  • Loyalty and other customer program performance
  • Digital programming performance
  • Equipment downtime/maintenance and correlation to velocity
  • Customer invoice processing and budget tracking

 

Regionals & Independents – program performance & budgets:

  • National TPR program performance 
  • Regional customized programing performance 
  • Customer invoice processing and budget tracking 

 

Pardot (Salesforce B2B CRM) – program execution & performance:

  • Current customers: evaluate Pardot open and click through rates
  • Prospective customers – C-stores & Food Service:

            - Measure campaign open rate and performance – click throughs, leads, conversions 

            -  Segment prospect performance data 

  • Support to help build and configure emails & measure results 

 

Innovation – in-market product tests:

  • Provide support for retail customer tests – data pulls, evaluations and learnings 


Marketing - program performance:

  • Monitor and share marketing KPIs like impressions, leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement 
  • Analyze IRI and customer-specific sales data to aid our understanding of category and individual SKU performance 
  • Extrapolate market trends and patterns from data analysis and suggests opportunities 
  • Deliver regular reports on your findings and suggested actions 

 

Forecasting and Budgeting:

  • Use a variety of data sources to estimate sales of existing and new products 
  • Help to manage the marketing budget including tracking and forecasting

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree preferably in marketing, business or related field 
  • 2+ years relevant marketing, sales, sales analysis, business planning, category management or other relevant experience; strong analytical positions preferred 
  • Exceptional analytical skills – experience collecting and managing data, reporting, drawing inferences, and establishing recommendations 
  • Project management experience – ability to develop timelines and manage project milestones;attention to detail and follow through    
  • Strong oral and written communicationskills 
  • Experience with CPG industry, foodservice, distributors and/or retailers preferred; c-store experience a plus 
  • Strong MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) skills required, with an emphasis on Excel mastery 
  • Experience with syndicated consumption databases, e.g. IRI and Nielsen, a plus 
  • Salesforce.com and/or CRM platform experience a plus
