Meet your Job

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide timely and sound financial results, business counsel, and insights to the various operating departments. You will be responsible for completing the monthly executive management reporting packet. You will also provide financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analytical support to our c-store and foodservice teams.  Analytical exercises will leverage your accounting and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create the monthly financial reporting package for the executive team and key business unit leaders
    • Interpret and share key financial results and business performance outcomes
  • Support the accounting team during monthly close by providing financial research and analysis defending business accruals, expense reporting, capital spend budgets, etc.
  • Assist with f’real’s growth into the convenience store and foodservice channels
    1. Support the annual operating planning process (gathering assumptions and building models)
    2. Drive the monthly forecasting for these business units
    3. Provide financial modeling and business counsel on key business projects and initiatives
  • Working closely with the financial planning manager, ensure that the annual business plan and monthly forecast integrates into the financial reporting process.

You are a highly-motivated and conscientious person who is passionate about finance. You have excellent financial modeling skills, a solid finance and accounting foundation, and a strategic mindset. You are comfortable working independently and within a team environment. You will be an integral member of a small, very tight knit working team, so great team work, an enthusiastic can-do attitude and a sense of humor will be essential.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required (MBA or master’s degree in finance preferred)
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in an FP&A department at a mid-size company with a tangible product (i.e. CPG)
  • Top of the chart excel skills (you rate yourself a “9 / 10”)
  • Strong analytical skills and report building experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, which help you further in working closely together with various departments across a multitude of management levels
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts and US GAAP
  • Has a ‘can-do; will-do’ attitude: A self-driven, positive, results-oriented performer
