Purpose Statement

AEN business partner with primary responsibility to drive the holistic development and optimization of the human capital within the defined manufacturing site(s) (People Pillar Owner).  Role will be member of site(s) steering team activating AEN Centers of Excellence programs, and standup site TPM Pillar systems in accordance with the TPM pillar playbook and sites current assessed maturity phase. This includes overseeing Associate Learning and Development, Leadership Development, High-Performance Team Development, and ongoing Organizational Effectiveness Assessments. Position will play a crucial role coordinating with AEN CoE’s, ESO and field partners to deploy Enterprise programs and TPM PP systems. Responsible to build and maintain positive relationships with factory associates and union representatives, when required, addressing and resolving, on an exception basis associate concerns, conflicts, and grievances in collaboration with Ops Excellence CoE. 

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Union / Labor Relations
    • Work closely with Union Leadership and Management on labor relations issues
    • Interpret and enforce the union contract and company policies
    • Handle Grievances and Arbitrations
    • Lead / support collective bargaining process
    • Address and resolve associate concerns
    • Conduct investigations on all site-related associate relation concerns
  • TPM / People Pillar Implementation
    • Lead cross-functional team in support of Rich’s TPM People Pillar program
    • Report Results, monitor and evaluate impact of People Pillar results on organizational performance
    • Attend Daily Line Meetings and take an active role in supporting Operations
    • Establish and maintain a robust governance structure for each TPM pillar, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities and decision-making processes
    • Regularly engage with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to align pillar activities with overall business objectives
  • High Performing Teams
    • Facilitate the creation and development of high-performance teams within the manufacturing site
    • Implement team-building activities, workshops, and interventions to enhance collaboration and productivity
    • Monitor team dynamics and provide guidance to resolve conflicts and improve team effectiveness
  • Organizational Development
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify strategic site objectives, goals and key performance indicators
    • Analyze data and metrics to provide insights into organizational health
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Hourly Training Programs
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and create targeted training programs
    • Track and evaluate training effectiveness and update program to support organizational performance
  • Leadership Development
    • Create / Implement Leadership Development programs in support of Succession Planning
    • Provide coaching and mentorship to leaders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth
  • Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
    • Adhere to and promote ethical and compliance standards
    • Work closely with internal legal team and/or Canadian resource on legal matters
  • Corporate Liaison
    • Implement and support corporate HR initiatives and programs
    • Act as change agent to site
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a union manufacturing setting strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred
  • Significant knowledge about Canadian employment laws
  • Proven experience in HR Leadership roles with a focus on learning and development, leadership development and organizational effectiveness
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams

 

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$88,960.00 - $133,440.00
