PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Production Team Leader is responsible for clarifying and enhancing their ability to conduct their daily activities in order to accomplish the company's objectives. In addition to providing the Customer with the best product, value and service as possible, provide a safe and clean environment that promotes Quality, Productivity, and a Healthy RPC-Employee relation. Must currently be authorized to work in Canada.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

⦁    Supervise Par-bake Operation and/or Frozen Dough Plant daily production schedules, ensuring proper crewing and product specifications are within quality standards. 
⦁    Responsible Management Representative on site while in charge of operation and support groups
⦁    Ensure all work is completed on schedule, daily production and labor computer entries
⦁    Ensure all Company Policies, Procedures and Provincial Laws are adhered to while promoting leadership.
⦁    Unionized facility working under the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
⦁    Coach and mentor associates as needed.
⦁    Ensure all Production, Safety and Quality checks and paperwork are done to standard and completed in a timely manner. 
⦁    Assist the Shift Leader in the ongoing implementation of Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) including participation in 6W2H’s and RCAs as required.


 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

⦁    Par-bake, Bakery (Frozen Dough) Knowledge
⦁    Supervisory Experience, in a Unionized workplace
⦁    Knowledge of OSHA, ESA etc.
⦁    Knowledge of Computers and MS Office 
⦁    Knowledge of GMP, Food Safety, H.A.C.C.P.
⦁    5 years Supervisory Experience 
⦁    Community College Diploma or Food Science Degree
⦁    Related Food / or Supervisory Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
⦁    Working knowledge of TPM would be an asset.

⦁    Experience with SAP
⦁    Effective communication skills
⦁    Strong math skills and problem-solving abilities.
⦁    Competent computer skills. Knowledge of MS Office a plus
⦁    Ability to work in a high stress environment as a team member.

COMPENSATION

 

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$62,475.00 - $84,525.00
