Drayage Brokerage requires an excellent communicator who also has the ability to remain calm and composed in time sensitive situations. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information while meeting customer deadlines.


•    Source (new and existing) drayage partners to build a pipeline/network for supporting ROAR customers and to pre-plan the use of carrier capacity to complete booking requirements
•    Understand and utilize port websites to monitor booking details/changes or vessel updates.
•    Analyze market trends through load history, carrier contact, and industry-related publications to better understand the marketplace and what affects rates to make informed buying decisions.
•    Establish, maintain and grow relationships with drayage partners to expand fleet usage.
•    Gather Carriers’ daily and weekly truckload capacity/availability to upload into our TMS.
•    Understand and execute ROAR’s carrier set-up & compliance procedures & guidelines.
•    Dispatch drivers with a high-level of detail and input all pertinent driver/shipment details into the TMS system and continue monitoring, communicating and updating until completion.
•    Be a problem-solver and solutions-provider, thinking critically to determine the best course of action, and implementing solutions to all customers, carriers, and ROAR associates.
•    Other tasks as assigned by the ROAR Management team.



•    Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics is preferred, but not a requirement.  High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required.
•    3+ years of experience in the drayage transportation industry
•    Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Products and Transportation Operations Systems
•    Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
•    Must be comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven and sometimes stressful environment.
•    Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
•    Candidate should have a positive mindset and be self-motivated.





In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Rich’s”), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.


Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$19.33 - $26.15
